Shanghai - the most dynamic city in the world’s fastest- changing nation. It was the largest and most prosperous city in the Orient during the 1930’s, and created many playgrounds for foreign adventurers and socialite where Suzie Wong partied all night. So, in general, Shanghainese (that’s how Chinese people refer the locals) consider themselves as “affluent, smart, competitive and superior” more than any other Chinese. Well that means in other Chinese people’s eyes they are more arrogant.
Shanghai is the largest centre of commerce and finance in mainland China, so it is definitely a good place to meet some of the women who are well educated and have the best careers in the country. So, you won’t find it difficult to find a smart and beautiful Shanghai girl who is a career woman as well.
Shanghai women have certain styles, behaviors and personalities. They are really exquisite looking, with slim figures, and a good party queen as well. But they are also similar to any other traditional Chinese women, with traditional values and good education, with a perfect pout and can-do attitude. So, there is no question why Shanghainese women are at the top of the game.
